REVENGE
It was a dark night; Allen was reading a
book on vampires. The clock struck 12 am. He was tired and his eyes were
closing. He went to the wash room, washed his face and went to bed. He was in
deep sleep and suddenly he felt that his body was extreme cold. He woke up at
3.30 am and checked his brand new I- phone. He had received a blank text
message from an unknown number. The message said... few more days and then you
are in our world.
He was horrified after reading the text.
And he heard some kind of sound from the wash room. He got up from the bed and
went to the wash room. The water was dripping from the bath tub and when he
went to put off the tap, he was shocked… there was blood droplets n the water.
He was terrified at that sight. He ran out of the wash room and went back to
the bed.
Allen was scared, he couldn’t sleep and
he called his friend Aditya but he disconnected the call, he thought it was not
appropriate to call up so late. He tried to sleep, the balcony windows were
open and he could see the moon. It was cool and calm; he was staring at the
moon. Now he felt better and he felt asleep.
Allen had to go to college, he was a
Medical student and he was 20 years. Allen was an intelligent and handsome boy.
He was very studious and was a kind hearted person. It was 8.am when he woke
up. He was late to college. He rushed to college and reached there at 9.pm. he
entered the class and he sat. All the students were already seated. The
Professor entered the class and lecture was going on. Allen was thinking about
yesterday’s incident, he was wondering where the blood came from, and the text
which he got he took his phone and saw the message. The number was strange and
when he tried replying the message couldn’t be sent. He was confused and was
feeling strange.
He wanted to tell everything to aditya,
he’s best friend. Suddenly when he looked out of the window he saw a girl who
was dressed in white. She was beautiful; she had long hair, big eyes. She was
cute. He got distracted and started staring at her. Soon the class bell rang
and class was dispersed. He wanted to know who that girl was so he rushed out
of the class.
But by the time he was about to talk to
her aditya came and took him away. He saw her going. She was damn pretty. Allen
was in love with her. Aditya hit on his head and asked ‘hey dude what’s up with
you? You don’t seem to be ok. Állen
wanted to tell him about last night and they both went to the cafeteria. He
spoke to aditya about last night.
He was confused and he said whatever
happened scared him. He tried calling that number but the call was not getting
connected. He was feeling restless and so allen decided to go home.
After reaching home he thought of
sleeping for a while and he went to sleep. He was in deep sleep. After some
time he woke up and went for a shower. He was in the shower suddenly he saw
that he had scratches on his neck and there was blood clot. He was horrified at
that sight. After the shower he went close to the mirror and checked his neck.
His neck was terribly scratched. He was wondering when and where did this
happen, but he couldn’t recall. He applied some cream on it and then went to
watch a movie.
He was watching a movie and all of a
sudden the TV screen went blank. There was no picture or relay on the TV. He
went close to the TV and checked the media player. He put it off because
nothing was happening, the TV was stuck. He put it off. When he turned it the
movie suddenly started, that was so strange and he freaked out. He put it off
again and went upstairs.
Allen called his mom. His mom and dad
were out of station. He was trying to call his mom but there was some network
error. He then called aditya. He told him immediately to come home. When he
came home, he showed him the scratch marks and he was shocked to see them.
Aditya told him to go to doctor. But he refused to go and said he would be ok.
He assumed that something must have bitten him.
Both of them thought of relaxing
themselves and they went out to roam. He was driving the car and he saw that
same girl who was in white, the pretty girl whom he had seen in the college.
She was dressed in white today as well. She looked mysterious; she was opposite
to their car standing in a corner. When he looked in the mirror he couldn’t see
her. And he asked aditya whether he could see that girl, he replied saying that
there was no such girl there.
This worried him even more. He was going
nuts. They both reached a place to chill out and they started discussing about
the strange things that had been happening. Aditya gave him advice that he should
probably stay away from the city and whatever has been happening is strange and
he should relax.
After going home he decided to go to his
farm house which was 30 kms away from the city. He decided to leave that night
to the farm house. Aditya couldn’t accompany him because of some problem. He
was to go alone. He left at around 7 pm for the farm house. He was driving the
car and after 3 hours he reached the farm house. It was around 10 pm. He
freshened up and thought of going for a walk.
He was walking across the trees. It was
cool and calm. He was walking in the moon light. He was in a conflict of
thoughts and emotions as to what was happening with him the past few days, why
this was happening, what would be the reason behind all this. Lost in thoughts
in reached a bit far, it was late as well. He wanted to go back but for a
moment he couldn’t figure out the way. He was walking around to see the way
suddenly he felt something cold next to his neck. He turned back there was no
one. Finally he got the way to get back. He started walking back but some
shadow was following him. Now he was damn scared and he started running and he
reached a cemetery. He saw the same girl whom he had seen before, the girl who
was dressed in white.
Now she was looking scary, her face was
burned. Her eyes were bleeding. She started screaming and howling. His throat
was dry, he was sweating and he asked ‘ who are you? Why are you after me? What
have I done? Now she came closer to him and now she looked pretty again. And a
flash of memory swept his eyes, he said sakshi…. And she said yes, remember me?
The wounds you gave me? Remember that day?
Now he was shocked and he recalls that
day….when he had committed a biggest mistake of his life. Two years back.
It was prom night; he was wearing a
black suit and a red bright tie. Sakshi was a fresher. She was a beautiful girl,
she was very shy and she hardly spoke to anyone. Just then, their eyes met.
Prom goggles descended and he asked her for a dance. She was mesmerised by his
charm. His friends called him and made up a plan of fooling the girl. At first
he did not agree to them. But later he was in a mood t have fun.
He got juice for her and mixed vodka in
it. They thought it would be fun when she will get high and seeing that they
will have fun. She drank the juice and later she went to the washroom and there
a couple of guys were drunk and they started pulling her. She ran from there
she was scared and she locked herself in a room. She starts getting dizzy and
she falls there because of the vodka. Now she fell down and she sees someone
entering the room, but she didn’t have the strength to open her eyes ans see
who he was.
Next day when she opened her eyes she
was shocked to see a guy sleeping next to her, he was Allen. She ran out of the
room. She saw a couple of guys standing in the corridor. They started teasing
her saying you spent a night with a guy, how could you? You show an innocent
face and this is what you do. She started crying. Now according to her, her
life was over. She thought of her family comes to know about this then her
family will get dis-famed. She knew that nothing had happened between them that
night but, she also knew that people would not believe it. She thought of
speaking to him and convincing him about telling everyone the truth.
The next day as everyone was sitting in
the Cafeteria she too goes in there and confronts Allen. She speaks to him and
requests him to tell everyone the truth and reveal that nothing went wrong that
night. Allen goes in the middle of the Cafeteria and draws everyone’s attention
and says “Last night was the most amazing night of my life”. He looks at Sakhsi
and says why are you so shy and reluctant about accepting the truth? Sakhsi has
no words to say. Tears well up in her eyes and she breaks down. Everyone around
her laughs and makes fun of her. She slowly gets up and walks out of the
cafeteria all lost in thoughts. She feels all cheated, betrayed and depressed.
In her dismal state she walks towards the
street thinking about how just one event made her life take a complete turn
towards Darkness. At this point of time, she was least aware of a truck with
beaming lights speeding towards her inevitable death, she is declared dead on
her arrival at the hospital and cremated the next day.
Eventually everyone forgot about her and
the incident that happened.
She SCREAMS again and Allen suddenly
comes out of his trance like situation and he suddenly finds the ghost of
Sakshi very close to his face. Before he knew it her spirit gets into him.
Allen had no control over himself. She wanted to take REVENGE…… as she controls
his body he picks up a rusted knife that he found on the ground and stabs
himself to death.
